MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION

If you plan to submit a manuscript, there are very few guidelines to follow:

Your manuscript should be no longer than 15 double spaced pages (except for the plenary papers). The manuscript should be prepared in Microsoft Word, and you should please send one paper copy and one copy on a disk. Please send the manuscript to the WOCAL4 postal address: Department of Linguistics, Rutgers University, 18 Seminary Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901-1184, USA. The firm deadline for manuscript submission will be August 17, 2003. No manuscripts will be accepted after this date.

There will be two volumes from the Rutgers WOCAL4. The manuscripts of the papers presented at the Predicative Syntax Workshop (plus a few invited papers) will be published in a separate volume; and all other submitted manuscripts will go into the WOCAL volume.

Please note that submitting a manuscript is no guarantee for publication. Manuscripts will be reviewed, and you will be informed by November 17, 2003 if your manuscript is accepted.

Here are a few additional details on the manuscript preparation: Please prepare your manuscript with the 8.5" by 11" (23.2 cm by 27.9 cm) paper specification.

FONTS: Please use Times New Roman, 12-point size. If you need to use phonetic fonts, please use the SIL phonetic fonts only. You can download them free from the SIL website.
